The EBOWN Annual Meeting Report 2026 provides a comprehensive record of the discussions, decisions, and strategic outcomes of the EBO Worldwide Network Annual Meeting held in Brussels from 1–5 June 2026. Bringing together 62 delegates representing European Business Organisations (EBOs) from 54 countries across the Network, the Annual Meeting reaffirmed that EBOs are now more than ever important in increasingly serving as strategic partners in the European Union’s economic diplomacy, competitiveness, trade, and market intelligence architecture.
Structured around the five-day programme, the report documents the Network’s governance and institutional developments, strategic planning, and engagement with the European Commission, European Parliament, EU Delegations, and key European business organisations. It captures discussions across a broad range of priority themes, including EU competitiveness and economic security, trade policy and market access, Global Gateway, regulatory simplification, critical raw materials, energy security, supply chain resilience, advocacy and policy, SME internationalisation, market intelligence, the EBO Global Business Sentiment Report, regional priorities, communications and visibility, digital transformation, capacity building, and the strategic priorities of the newly elected EBOWN Board for the 2026–2027 term.
The report also records the principal recommendations, agreed follow-up actions, and priority initiatives that will guide the Network’s work over the coming year. Serving as both an institutional record and a strategic reference, it demonstrates the growing recognition of EBOWN as a trusted platform for market intelligence, business feedback, and structured dialogue with EU institutions, while reinforcing the Network’s role in advancing the interests of European businesses operating in third markets.
