European Chamber of Commerce Guyana

The European Chamber of Commerce (Guyana), officially registered in October 2023, is the primary representative voice for European business interests in Guyana. As a non-profit, non-partisan, and voluntary membership organization, it represents the 27 EU member states and aims to strengthen trade, investment, and economic ties with Guyanese stakeholders.

Core Mission & Objectives:

Promote and advocate on behalf of European businesses operating or seeking to enter Guyana.
Foster collaboration across sectors and publicly facilitate matchmaking, lobbying, and networking.

Strategic Role & Benefits:

Acting as liaison to public institutions—such as the EU Delegation, Guyana Revenue Authority, and the Office for Investment—the Chamber advocates for member interests while facilitating EU investment missions in critical sectors like health, renewable energy, agribusiness, timber, and pharmaceuticals.
