The Federation of Binational Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the European Economic Area or FEDEUROPA, is a non-profit civil association that integrates the different Chambers of Commerce of the European Community and/or the European Free Trade Association (EFTA). In this sense, the organisation represents the respective chambers before the public authorities of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, as well as the duly constituted private, national or foreign organisations and institutions, including the general public. The organisation is constituted by the bilateral European Chambers of Commerce incorporated in the Country. FEDEUROPA is made up of 10 bi-lateral chambers representing more than 10 European Countries, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Nordic Countries and Switzerland, among others.
FEDEUROPA offers benefits to its members, including networking opportunities, advocacy and representation.
FEDEUROPA in Venezuela has been actively involved in promoting business relationship and facilitating trade between Venezuela and Europe. As part of its efforts, FEDEUROPA has engaged in a series of round table discussions on various topics of interest to its members and other stakeholders. One of the key areas of focus for FEDEUROPA has been implementing an agreement between a local university and the bicameral members to facilitate internships. FEDEUROPA also has been the link between European Delegation in Venezuela and the bicameral chambers, promoting the dialogue and cooperation between each other. FEDEUOPA organises monthly meetings to discuss on cooperation, import and export matters, and to bring common solutions to the situations faced by its members.
