EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Established in 1993, EUROCHAM Malaysia was founded as a chamber of chambers by several EU bilateral chambers of commerce. Its primary mission is to represent the EU business community in Malaysia, and to foster trade and investment connections between Europe and Malaysia. Committed to reinforcing business alliances for a fruitful EU-Malaysia partnership, the chamber boasts a varied membership, encompassing EU bilateral chambers of commerce, associated chambers, and direct corporate members from both Europe and Malaysia.

Serving as a conduit for over 1,600 companies within their wider network, EUROCHAM Malaysia provides one of the most expansive business platforms. It facilitates access to the Malaysian market and the multifaceted European economies through its vast bilateral chambers. By connecting businesses and communities, the chamber crafts mutually beneficial trade and investment opportunities. It invites all to join, and connect with suppliers, manufacturers, investors, customers, business associations, local and foreign bilateral chambers, government agencies, embassies, and trade counsellors. EUROCHAM Malaysia maintains robust engagement with local authorities, with over 10 government meetings held in 2022, and has a strong alliance with the EU Delegation.

The EUMCCI represents a broad spectrum of European businesses, including large corporations and small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from sectors such as automotive, healthcare, energy, and technology. The chamber's primary goal is to assist its members in navigating Malaysia's complex business environment while furthering their business interests through networking, advocacy, and market intelligence. EUMCCI's mission involves strengthening the economic bond between Europe and Malaysia, leading to sustainable economic growth and development in both regions. By supporting its members' business interests and encouraging trade and investment between the EU and Malaysia, the chamber seeks to foster growth and success. The EUMCCI offers services and resources designed to help European businesses overcome the challenges they may encounter in Malaysia, including regulatory and cultural hurdles. It equips them with the tools and knowledge necessary to thrive in this vibrant market.
