EUROCHAM Malaysia is the official European Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia, founded in 1993 and representing the interests of European business in one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic economies. Formerly known as EUMCCI, the chamber rebranded as EUROCHAM Malaysia to better reflect its modern identity and pan-European mandate.
With 130+ direct corporate members and access to a wider network of over 1,600 companies, EUROCHAM Malaysia is the primary structured voice of EU industry in Malaysia. Its membership spans multinational corporations, SMEs, and bilateral chambers of commerce from across the EU Member States, active across 15+ sectors including automotive, healthcare, digital & technology, energy, sustainability, financial services, and wines & spirits.
Role & Mandate
EUROCHAM Malaysia serves as the principal private sector interlocutor between European business and Malaysian government, regulatory bodies, and the EU Delegation in Kuala Lumpur. The chamber works at the intersection of trade policy, market access, and regulatory reform — advocating for a transparent, competitive, and rules-based business environment that benefits both European investors and Malaysia's broader economic development.
As a founding member of the EBO Worldwide Network (EBOWN) since 2012, EUROCHAM Malaysia is embedded in a global network of European chambers operating across five continents, contributing to coordinated advocacy at both bilateral and EU institutional levels.
Current Strategic Priorities
