The European Business Organisation Worldwide Network released its position on the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive Position Paper this week during the EBOWN Annual meeting in Brussels. Led by EBOWN board member Adam Dunnett, from EBO China the collective voice of the 54 European Chambers across third markets was presented to DG Trade, DG Justice, DG Grow, DG INTPA, DG Clima, DG Envi, and DG Taxud on the margins. The paper contains 18 recommendations by European Business based from a third market on how to effectively implement the EUCSDDD and create clear pathways for compliance by working closely with companies and governments in third markets.
