EBO EuroCham Singapore and in particular Executive Director Nele Cornelis met the Commissioner-Designate for Trade Phil Hogan during the EUSFTA Gala Dinner at the Grand Hyatt in Singapore.
The Gala dinner was organised by the European Delegation in Singapore together with the Ministry of Trade and Industry of Singapore and supported by European Chamber of Commerce (Singapore). That evening Minister-in-charge of Trade Relations S Iswaran and European Commissioner-Designate for Trade Phil Hogan jointly announced receiving the final approval of the EU Singapore Free Trade Agreement from the Council of the European Union, with the aim being for it to enter into force on Nov 21, 2019.
